About Us

Dr Damian Folch is a primary care physician serving the greater Lowell community. His delivery of care emphasizes lifestyle choices that contribute to the successful management of each patient’s health empowering them to achieve the experience of well-being.

Dr. Damian Folch is a member of the American Medical Association, the Massachusetts Medical Society, the National Hispanic Medical Association, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, the American College of Preventive Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine. He is currently the Vice Chair of the Greater Lowell Health Alliance and a board member of Tufts Medicine. He is affiliated with the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine in Boston.

Dr. Folch graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1978 and did a flexible internship at the San Juan City Hospital with an elective at Boston City Hospital.

Dr. Folch is a Lifestyle Medicine provider and participates in the training of Yale Internal/Preventive Medicine residents during their two week Lifestyle Medicine rotation in Boston offered by the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine.

He has presented at Harvard Institute of Lifestyle Medicine conference.

Most recently, Dr. Folch has been recognized as Co-Champion for the Well-Being – Blue Zone Project in Lowell which was launched on September 13, 2022.

Dr. Folch has been recognized by the Lowell General Hospital with two awards, in 2012 as a physician that "Exemplifies Complete Connected Care" and in 2017 for "Exceptional Service to the Community". He has been awarded a Top Doctor designation by Boston Magazine every year starting in 2017 through 2021.

His passion is to use Lifestyle Medicine to empower patients and their families to make informed decisions that will transform their lives so they can enjoy well-being.
