Office Policies

  • We will make every effort to see you on time. Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to review your demographics and insurance information. You can also do that on line by going to the Patient Portal (Link). We also recommend that you make a list of the things that you would like to talk to your provider the day of your visit.

  • We accept most insurance plans. If you are not sure if a specific insurance plan is accepted in our office, please call your insurance company directly. You are required to know the benefits and limitations of your insurance plan and verify with your insurance carrier that we are in the network of providers for that plan. Your insurance company requires that you bring your insurance card with you to every visit and that you pay the copayment at the time of the service. Self pay patients are welcomed.

If your visit is related to a motor vehicle accident or workmen’s compensation, you are required to bring all pertinent information, such as company, address, claim number, etc, in order to be seen.

  • We kindly request that if you are unable to come for your scheduled appointment that you call us 24 hours ahead to reschedule or cancel the appointment. If you fail to call before the appointment we will charge a no-show fee of $50.00.

  • We offer same day visits for urgent and acute illnesses. If you think you need to be seen urgently, please call the office as early in the day as possible so we can accommodate you in the schedule. If you are not sure if your condition needs urgent attention, please ask for our Nurse and she will be able to help you.

  • If you have access to the patient portal and you did your tests at Lowell General Hospital or Quest Lab, you will be able to see the results on line. If the tests are normal and you have a follow up appointment in the near future, your provider will discuss the results with you during that visit.

If you have an abnormal test, we will contact you when the results are available.

  • If you need assistance when the office is closed during evenings, weekends or major holidays, please call the office and an answering service will connect you with the physician on call. If your telephone number does not accept blocked calls, you need to disabled it in order for the on call physician to call you back. If you have a life threatening medical emergency, please call 911.
